We have missed American Idol the last couple weeks because my son has made sure we watch MacGyver instead. It helps that our antenna isn't the greatest so we don't always get fox either. Well perusing FaceBook, I wander to a friends page and see a post about a former student on the auditions.
This was one of my former students. It was my first year teaching. He was in my 4th period Junior English Class. The year was 2002. Throughout the hallway I could hear him yelling out his version of my name "Mrs. Vowg, Hey Mrs. Vowg" Theo never could say my name right, I was Miss Vaughan the first quarter, then married and became Balazadeh. For the duration of his time in FPC I was Mrs. Vowg. I gave up trying to correct him after the first semester.
The boy was always singing in the hallways, you could hear him miles away. Which meant you were always prepared for his arrival.
What a character, I see he hasn't lost his....spunk.
Right now I am interested in sleep. :) I suppose I am also interested in reading (as I read daily). I am interested in MOM's Groups, even though non in the area call me back, BAH! Plus I am interested in kids, as I have a one year old and one due in May!
Music:
Music, I rarely listen to music these days. But I am a big fan of the Monkees, Metallica, Dune, etc. Very diverse, I love 80's Heavy Metal, Rock N Roll, the 60's, 70's and 80s. Grunge and Alternative are still on my tops! Plus I dig, Opera, Broadway Tunes and Classical.
Movies:
My favorite movie is a tie between several. Newsies, The Princess Bride and Goonies. :) I can't choose just one!!
Unfortunately the last movie I saw was Oceans 13. Its was good. But we don't get to the movies much because the bubbee just won't sit through it. :)
TV:
Man, I'm an addict. Lets start with Cold Case, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, Smallville, Top Model, American Idol, House, MD. , CSI: Las Vegas and New York; Without a Trace; and thats all I can think of at the mo'
Books:
I have too many favorites to list. :)
I am currently reading "the Dante Club" but will be finished shortly.
