| Conversations with God part 1 |

My talks with the Lord may be with the Holy Spirit I'm not sure he never
mentioned who he was hehe. Before I start I want to tell you I never instigated
the conversation. I was just minding my own business.
Ok I
was driving home during a winter storm I was about 5 miles from home drove
around a corner and just out of the corner of my eye I saw a hitchhiker I
thought as I drove "too bad I didn't see him earlier I would have stopped" about
a minute latter continuing down the road a voice in my head said "Why don't you go back and get him?" This startled me
because I was thinking about something else by then. I was by myself so I said
out loud hes probably got a ride by
now ...no hes still
there.. but I'm almost home now it will
take me 5 minutes to go back and he will probably be gone
then...no he needs you....
but I'm only a minute away from
home....silence.....Ok ..fine then I
will go back. So turned around and headed back
through the storm. Sure enuff he was still there his back to the cold wind. I
wheeled around and he got in put his hood down. It was a friend of mine I didn't
recodnize him with his hood up. Hes says Hi Brett... umm... didn't you
pass me about 10 minutes ago? At that point I told him what happened and started
witnessing to him.
A few years later I was driving
to the car dealership to make an appointment to get my Jeep
serviced there was a hitch hiker on the side of the road
and I hear "Pick him up" I
said Im just going 30 feet past him that won't do
him anygood....pick him
up... but...but...ok tell you what Let
me make my appointment then I will give him a ride if he.s still there
ok?... sure thats ok he will still
be there. I was only 2 minutes at the dealership when I came out he
was still there I asked the Lord can I get a coffee?
I will get him one too?... sure
he said so went into the coffee shop across the road got 2 coffee and
2 donuts put his cream and sugar on the side because God didn't tell me how he
took it hehe. Pulled out and picked him up I said good day he said ty I have
been standing there for over an hour. He said how far you going?..I answered
well I'm not really going in your direction but God said I had to give you a
ride so I will take you where ever you are going. He laffed and said I am born
again I was praying the Lord would send me a ride and thanks for the coffee and
donut.
