I got myself a 360 Yamaha trail bike was racing it down a fire road when I was forced of the road and hit the ditch had my heel ripped off just the flesh bone was fine ....decided at that time that rideing with hushpuppies on was a bad idea.
On the same bike I was riding through some fields just after a summer rain and had to go through a gate in the fence there were some ruts there that had water in them so I decided to go on the grass between them at about 50 mph the front tire slid into the right rut ..the rear into the left rut it twisted around and threw me into the air for about 50ft and I landed on my back with a very loud SNAP.
I laid there still...feeling no pain...thinking..."well now you finally did it!"
I laid there for about 10 minutes perfectly still I knew no one would find me for days where I was thinking of all the days to go riding alone. Decided to move thought best thing to do is move my toes they were ok ankles ok legs ok well that means my spine is ok right? Moved my hands ok arms ok. I then figured I went and broke my dang neck...great now what? Worst thing you can do with a broken neck is to move your head
but after a few minutes I tried found out all that happened was I cracked my back the way a chiropractor does I was fine. found my bike a few yards off started it up and rode away.
And you know all the times I could have been hurt bad or killed I never once thanked God for it. But I was an agnostic then.
But the Lord has a plan for our lives even if we don't know it..or like it.
I am now Born again and spirit filled I can tell you of the proof I have that God is real just ask. I love to talk about what Jesus has done for me.
